  1. Hi lgbtmom! I recently began a blog about my own transgender child. I have been touched by what you have written. I can totally relate to what you are feeling, since I’m going through the same thing (but in reverse since my child is a son). I have also heard that many parents don’t support their transgender children and like you, I’m shocked. Just remember that you aren’t alone. 🙂

    • Oh, thank you so much! I feel like a slug because I haven’t posted anything in quite a while. I think I’ve been going through a period where everything is hitting me hard, and it’s all I can do to manage the “have-to” parts of my days, so the blog has taken a back seat. I think I was feeling a little better when I was writing, though; I’m sure I’ll get back to it soon.

Thank you again for your kind comment. The best to you with your child–when I get the chance, I’ll check out your blog and give you a follow. 🙂

    • Hi, I am so sorry it seemed I was ignoring you…I see you reached out several times. I haven’t been on this blog in a very long time until just yesterday. I’ve been having a really hard time…dealing with many issues at once. Newly widowed dad, marriage breaking up, one daughter moving out, the other coming out as trans and also being diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. I have a full plate. Thank you so much for your positivity, and keep being amazing. ❤
